WINTER 2019
Dear Friends - Happy 2019!

We hope your holidays were filled with joy and that your new year will be the best ever. We hope in some way we can assist you to achieve your worthy intentions.
2018 Was a Busy Year for Us!

We continue to move forward on Living Unlimited's first development of Clearwater Ranch Community in Cloverdale. It is a beautiful 84-acre property in the heart of the Alexander Valley wine growing region with five homes, four cottages, a gymnasium, a swimming pool and a boatload of potential. We have incredibly dedicated and hardworking families working together to bring this community to fruition. It is truly impressive how much brainpower and expertise we are fortunate to access. We are now working on rounding out our community and have only a few spaces left. Our first community residents will be transitioning into the first newly remodeled home in the next few months.

All are welcome to join us for our work parties. Our next party is Saturday March 16, 2019. Email info@living-unlimited.org for details about the party or how your family too can get involved in CRC.

In 2018, Members of our Living Unlimited family attended:
  • The Autism Society of America's 50th Annual National Conference, "The Future of Autism," in Bethesda, MD and Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. The conference focused on how the Autism Society's Quality of Life goals can help shape the future of autism. The 51st National Conference will be held July 9-11, 2019 at the same locations.
  • The "Together For Choice" meeting between October 17th-19th, 2018 at Misericordia in Chicago, attended by many of our friends across the nation.
  • Several meetings in Sacramento with the Department of Disability Services (DDS), the Department of Housing and Community Development, the Lanterman Coalition and the Lanterman Housing Coalition.
  • The SF Autism Society's fifth annual housing conference in Stanford.
In addition, we have attended resource and transition fairs and also held information sessions throughout the Bay Area explored other possible developments elsewhere in the area. We have more than 500 families on our mailing list and have done our best to inform you all about events that may have been useful, including those at the local, state, and federal level.
