A NOTE FROM OUR LIVING UNLIMITED BOARD PRESIDENT
Dear Friends of Living Unlimited,
In 2025 Living Unlimited continues to support families seeking permanent, safe and secure housing for their I/DD adult children with our current equity model, LLC based housing solutions.
The lessons learned from developing our communities in Cloverdale and Petaluma continue to help in providing additional communities to support this growing population’s housing needs.
In addition, Living Unlimited is exploring additional funding models for permanent housing solutions that will provide the same housing opportunities with a significantly lower initial monetary commitment from the families. Working with a philanthropic organization to support this model, the initial financial commitments are slated to be considerably less than any project we've done so far. The monthly fees paid by the residents and the entry restrictions are still to be determined, but this is still an opportunity that could help many more individuals than we previously envisioned. This philanthropic organization truly believes in finding a way to help our neurodivergent population. Please send us an email HERE if you or a family member is interested in learning more.
Living Unlimited is managed and operated 100% by volunteers and seeking assistance in supporting our mission to provide a safe and secure home for I/DD adults where they can thrive and be part of a larger community.
Living Unlimited is only able to do the work of helping families create housing for their neurodiverse adults with your generous support. Your donations allow us to continue to move forward in this important arena.
If you need help to find a viable housing solution for your adult child or you can help us in our mission, please contact us and drop us a line HERE.
With heartfelt gratitude,

Katie Carney, President, Living Unlimited

View from the Mustang Court Commons Neighborhood

Another household is actively being organized for a cluster house in the Mustang Court Commons community. The neighboring development is quite close. It is just across a field that is open space and will never be developed. This is a picture of the farm from the neighborhood. There is even a gate at the back of the farm that will provide access to the property.

Register online to reserve your space HERE.
Two days are optional. If you can come to both days, great!
Otherwise, we would love to see you for one of the days!

Mustang Court
Commons Update

We Have Our First Residents!
The Mustang Court Commons families are thrilled to announce that our first young men have moved into the house! We are so excited that our dream of a safe and stable environment for our guys has finally become a reality. The young men have been busy helping put together a household. The Supported Living Services agency of Milestones of Development is helping our guys with this transition and new experience. So far, things are going well. Lots of outings, including the Petaluma Inclusion Festival and a day at Bodega Bay. They are always welcoming when their parents come to visit, but don't seem to mind getting the house back to themselves when it's time to say goodbye.
Much work is still to be done with raising a barn, weeding, and taking care of those adorable sheep. Thank you to all our community members who have helped make this project successful. We couldn't have done it without you! Stay tuned for opportunities to come visit and see our project in action. Maybe even come to one of our many parties!

Speaking of parties, we had an amazing grand opening party where Petaluma Mayor Kevin McDonnell cut our grand opening ribbon with his very large scissors!
